A quick guide to measuring your head and finding the right cap size — plus how our trucker caps are designed to fit. Target keyword: men’s cap size guide
A cap that doesn’t fit right undercuts even the best outfit — too tight and it looks pinched, too loose and it slides around. Here’s how to get it right.
How to Measure Your Head
Wrap a soft measuring tape around your head about an inch above your eyebrows and ears — the widest part of your head. If you don’t have a tape measure, a piece of string works too; just measure the string against a ruler afterward.
Size Chart
| Head Circumference | Size |
|---|---|
| 21″ – 21.5″ (53–55 cm) | Small |
| 21.75″ – 22.25″ (55–57 cm) | Medium |
| 22.5″ – 23″ (57–58 cm) | Large |
| 23.25″+ (59+ cm) | XL |
Adjustable vs. Fitted
Most of our trucker caps come with an adjustable snapback closure, meaning one size comfortably fits a range of head circumferences — ideal if you’re buying as a gift or aren’t sure of an exact size.
Fit Tips
- A cap should sit snugly without leaving a red mark after an hour of wear
- The front panel should sit just above the eyebrows, not resting on them
- If you’re between sizes, size up — a slightly looser fit is easier to adjust than a too-tight one
Caring for Your Cap
Structured cotton caps hold their shape best when air-dried (never machine-dried) and stored upright rather than flattened in a drawer.
